Administered by the Sedalia School District Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, donations are tax-deductible under the Internal Revenue Code.

Through the generosity of alumni, friends, business leaders, and district patrons, we provide alternative funding sources for programs, activities, and school improvements. You may designate your tax-deductible gifts to building enhancement, Dual Credit Scholarships, mini-grants, memorials, and the Brendan Eisenmenger Student Impact Fund. Unrestricted gifts will support alumni relations, future projects for students, SSD #200 staff, and the Foundation’s mission.

Obtain a Helping Schools license plate by donating to the Sedalia School District Foundation

The Missouri legislature authorized the Helping Schools personalized license plate to benefit elementary and secondary schools in Missouri. Participating organizations receive $15 per year from the applicant for each personalized plate. Applicants also pay $15 per year to the Missouri Department of Revenue when requesting and renewing their Helping Schools license plates. If applying for a biennial (two-year) registration, the minimum contribution is $30.

Write a check to “SSDF” for $15 annual or $30 biennial license; in the memo line write Helping Schools License Plate; mail to PO Box 2505, Sedalia MO 65302-2505.\

The Foundation will issue an emblem-use authorization form. This form will be signed by a representative of the Foundation and is the receipt you must have to obtain the license plate.

Complete the Application for Missouri Personalized and Special License Plates, Form 1716.  Submit the completed 1716 form, the emblem-use form, and the state fee of $15 per year to the Department of Revenue at your local license office.

You will be notified by mail when your plates are available at your local license office.
