Thursday, Sept. 26th

Distinguished Alumni Award presentation ceremony for Bill Brown SCHS Class of 1965: 11 a.m., Heckart Performing Arts Center at Smith-Cotton High School, 2010 Tiger Pride Blvd

 

Friday, Sept. 27th

Homecoming Parade: 3 p.m., downtown Sedalia. Contact the Student Council sponsor at the high school to enter a float in parade, 660-851-5300

SSDF Tailgate Party: 5 to 7 p.m., Smith-Cotton High School. Open to the community, complimentary hot dogs, and the smith-Cotton High School Marching Tiger Band will make an appearance

Football Game: 7 p.m., Tiger Stadium at Smith-Cotton High School. Tickets $5 for adults

 

Saturday, Sept. 28th

All-Class Reunion Pancake Breakfast: 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., FEMA building cafeteria at Smith-Cotton Junior High, 312 E Broadway Blvd. $5 per ticket at door or email schfound@sedalisdf.org for advance pricing

Sound Effects performance: 8 to 8:30 a.m., Smith-Cotton Junior High auditorium. Vocal music performance by Junior High “Sound Effects” choir, under the direction of Ms. Kayla Bradley,  free admission

Open House at the “Original” Smith-Cotton: 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Smith-Cotton Junior High School. Class reunions and alumni are welcome to tour the campus, wander the halls, and reminisce

Homecoming weekend picture gallery and tours: 9 to 11 a.m., Smith-Cotton High School. Guided tours of Smith-Cotton High School and athletic complex

Heckart Community Center tours: Class reunions can schedule a group tour of the Heckart Community Center by contacting Susan Mergen at smergen@sedaliaparks.com. Alumni are welcome to use the Community Center when visiting Sedalia. Day passes include use of the aquatic center, fitness center, and gyms, $7 for adults or $5 for those over 60

 

“100 Years of Being a Tiger” history book sales

Purchase a copy of the Smith-Cotton centennial history book at the Distinguished Alumni Award ceremony, football game, All-Class Reunion Pancake Breakfast, and homecoming weekend picture gallery and tours of high school, $50 each
