Smith-Cotton Homecoming Weekend Activities

SSDF homecoming parade


The Homecoming parade, hosted by Smith-Cotton High School Student Council, will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, through downtown Sedalia. Smith-Cotton High School classes celebrating a reunion this year are welcome to participate in this annual tradition. Please contact the Sedalia School District Foundation office by Wednesday, October 9, 2019, to reserve a spot in the parade.
SSDF Homecoming Tailgate Party


Foundation tailgate party in the high school gym from 5 to 7 p.m. Alumni, students, parents, and community members are welcome. Donations accepted. Smith-Cotton Tiger Pride Marching Band will perform at 6 p.m.
SSDF Tiger Stadium Entrance


The Smith-Cotton Football Tigers take on the Clinton Cardinals at 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
SSDF Homecoming Pancake performers


Events on Saturday, October 19 include a pancake breakfast, Future Alumni performances, and open house from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Smith-Cotton Junior High. Pancake and sausage breakfast tickets available at the door for $5 each.

Homecoming Weekend Color Run

The Horace Mann Elementary PTA will hold a Tiger “Color Run” on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the Sedalia Middle School Track, 2205 S. Ingram Ave. Check-in will begin at 10 a.m. and the run begins at 11 a.m. Registration is $25 per person and is open to the public and all ages. The Tiger Color Run is non-competitive and untimed—no experience required. Participants of all ages will walk, jog, or run the designated course and are doused with color along the way. Bounce house, concession stands and other activities will be available. More details at the Horace Mann PTA Facebook page.
